Aloha .NET Ohana,
Those that attended the April 2009 session heard Jeff Bloom talk about a Senior Project that students from Kalani High School were participating in. If you are a developer and are available on May 29 either in the morning or afternoon, I would like to invite you to become a preview panelist. This will be held at the Manoa Innovation Center.
I (Randy Williams) will be there and invite you as well. Here is a more detailed write up that Jeff has provided to us:
Kalani high school is piloting a Senior Project program this year for 26 students. These students have created a software application project using .NET technology. As part of the program they each will have to do a formal oral presentation. We are looking for 8 industry professionals to be part of the review panel. For more details, see the attachment.
Each panelist will need to commit 3 hours, from 9am to Noon or from 1pm to 4pm. The presentations will be at the Manoa Innovation Center on May 29th, 2009.
If you are interested in participating and sharing your knowledge and feedback to some aspiring software developers, please contact Jeff Bloom at bloomj@hawaii.edu
Thanks for your support.
Jeff
